Shipper/Receiver
Leading Edge National Staffing is currently seeking an experienced and dependable Shipper/Receiver for a warehouse/manufacturing opportunity.
Position Overview
The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for supporting daily shipping and receiving operations, completing transactions accurately and on time, and helping maintain efficient warehouse operations and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare outbound shipments, including loading, unloading, packing, verifying, and recording merchandise.
• Arrange transportation of outgoing merchandise.
• Receive, sort, and stage incoming shipments in designated areas.
• Verify product quantities and ensure shipment accuracy.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
• Identify and report damaged products or shipment discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow 6S practices and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with packaging larger skidded items as required.
• Provide backup support to Material Handlers and other warehouse positions when required.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Previous warehouse/distribution experience, particularly in shipping and receiving.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve discrepancies.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency and meet deadlines.
• Ability to multitask and process orders efficiently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Minimum Grade 12 education.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack and/or warehouse equipment.
• Valid lift truck/forklift licence is required.
Preferred Experience
Experience with third-party shipping methods, including FedEx, UPS, freight scheduling, and shipping, is considered an asset.

• Properly use and wear required PPE.
• Immediately report workplace hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Operate equipment and machinery safely and responsibly.
• Follow established safe work practices and procedures.
• Attend required health and safety training, including WHMIS and workplace orientation.
