Leading Edge National Staffing is currently seeking a motivated and safety-focused Robotic Cell Operator for a manufacturing opportunity.

Position Overview
The Robotic Cell Operator is responsible for the startup, shutdown, loading, unloading, and monitoring of the robotic welding process. The operator will troubleshoot basic robot stoppages, including arc failures, tip changes, and wire jams, and escalate more complex issues to technicians when required. The role also involves inspecting raw materials and completed parts to ensure quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
• Complete robotic cell startup and shutdown procedures and required documentation.
• Follow production schedules and adapt to changing production requirements.
• Monitor robotic welding operations and identify process stoppages.
• Troubleshoot basic issues and request technical assistance when required.
• Inspect arc welds and identify welds requiring repair.
• Monitor raw material levels and notify production supervision when stock is low.
• Unload finished products and perform quality inspections before moving parts to the next process.
• Work collaboratively with production employees to troubleshoot issues and maintain production flow.
• Follow established safe work practices and procedures.
• Participate in 6S and Lean Manufacturing practices.

Qualifications & Skills
• Minimum Grade 12 education.
• Previous related or manufacturing experience is an asset.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing processes.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Positive, enthusiastic attitude.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented production environment.

Health & Safety
• Follow all applicable OHSA requirements and workplace safety procedures.
• Properly use and wear required PPE.
• Immediately report hazards or unsafe conditions to a supervisor.
• Operate machinery and equipment safely and responsibly.
• Follow established safe work practices and procedures.
• Attend required health and safety training, including WHMIS and workplace orientation.
