Position Overview

We are currently hiring an experienced Senior Firmware Engineer with strong embedded firmware and bare-metal development experience. The successful candidate will take ownership of firmware development from design and coding through testing, production, and ongoing product support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop embedded firmware using C / Embedded C
• Own firmware design, development, testing, release, and maintenance
• Develop drivers, control logic, bootloaders, diagnostics, and communication interfaces
• Troubleshoot hardware and firmware issues
• Support product testing, validation, manufacturing, and field issues
• Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and product teams
• Mentor junior and intermediate engineers

Qualifications

• 8+ years of embedded firmware development experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• Strong bare-metal microcontroller development experience
• Strong C / Embedded C programming skills
• Experience debugging complex firmware and hardware issues
• Knowledge of interfaces such as CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, RS-485, Ethernet, and TCP/IP
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Experience

Experience with ARM Cortex-M, STM32, NXP, Microchip PIC/dsPIC, TI MSP430, Renesas, Nordic nRF, or ESP32 is preferred. RTOS experience, including FreeRTOS, ThreadX, or Zephyr, is an asset.
