Leading Edge National Staffing is currently seeking reliable and hardworking General Labourers for a manufacturing opportunity.

Position Overview
The General Labourer will support daily production, assembly, packing, and material-handling activities within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform light assembly of small components and products using basic hand tools and equipment.
• Assemble, fit, fasten, and prepare components according to work instructions, drawings, or supervisor direction.
• Pack finished products, components, and parts according to packaging requirements.
• Prepare boxes, containers, protective materials, labels, and other packaging supplies.
• Verify quantities and components before products move to the next stage of production or shipping.
• Accurately label and identify packaged products.
• Sort, count, organize, and prepare parts and materials for production.
• Safely move materials, components, and finished products throughout production and warehouse areas.
• Assist production and assembly employees with general labour duties.
• Complete required documentation.
• Provide additional production support as required.

Required Skills
• Packing and material-handling skills.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform physical duties associated with a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to safely lift and move materials within workplace lifting requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
• Previous industry or manufacturing experience.
• Assembly line experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing electrical and electronic products is an asset.
• Minimum Grade 12 education.

Health & Safety
• Follow all applicable OHSA requirements and workplace health and safety procedures.
• Properly use and wear required PPE.
• Immediately report workplace hazards and safety concerns.
• Follow established safe work practices when operating or working around equipment.
• Attend required health and safety training, including WHMIS and workplace orientation.
